The group chat and the
spreadsheet, retired.

Calendar and RSVPs, roll call, announcements, polls, group chats, the roster, the photo album and the club fee ledger — one app your whole club already knows how to use, with no subscription or per-member software charge, and an AI that seats the boat.

Plan it. Run it. Keep the crew together.

Core club tools are free: no subscription and no per-member software charge. AI analyses and optional SMS use credits. Your club can also collect dues through its connected Stripe account; PaddleLens keeps 1% of each payment for US clubs and 3% for clubs elsewhere; Stripe's processing fee is separate.

PaddleLens practice calendar with RSVP responses
Plan the session

Schedule the water time, see who is going, maybe or can’t, and keep the reminder with the practice.

What else this workflow covers
  • Sessions and eventsone-off or weekly, with a calendar subscription for each member
  • Weather for the launch spotshown with the session up to three days ahead
  • Attendance exporta monthly CSV keeps there, missed and unmarked distinct
PaddleLens roll call view for a paddling practice
Turn replies into attendance

Take roll on the dock without turning an unanswered name into an absence.

What else this workflow covers
  • Three attendance statesthere, missed or unmarked — a session nobody marked counts against nobody
  • Follow-up without spamnudge only the members who have not replied
  • Practice historyattendance remains available by member and by month
PaddleLens roster with member roles and squads
Keep the roster useful

Roles, squads, invites and dues live with the people they describe.

What else this workflow covers
  • Invite by link or codeuse a standing join link you can regenerate or switch off
  • Roles and squadscoach, assistant coach and paddler across one club roster
  • Season duesmembers pay into the club’s own connected Stripe account; cash payments can be marked manually
PaddleLens announcement and poll for paddling club members
Communicate with a record

An announcement, poll or chat keeps the decision and its replies together instead of lost in a thread.

What else this workflow covers
  • Announcements and pollssend a notice to your club — or several clubs you coach — and see answers arrive as a count
  • Group chats and direct messagestalk to a race crew, a side or one member, with photos and files in the thread
  • Optional text alertsurgent notices can use the club’s pay-as-you-go text credits

Everyone paddles. Nobody argues
with the bubble level.

Tell it who showed up. It seats every single paddler, trims the hull around your steersperson, and explains every seat — tap one and see the why.

  • DB20, DB10, OC1 and OC6 — build a plan for the craft you are taking out, including a partly filled boat
  • Competitive, balanced or casual line-ups — the same roster seats differently depending which you ask for
  • Trial results are a planning input — PaddleLens uses a provisional, craft-aware performance index alongside side, availability and coaching context. It is not watts, a universal ranking or proof of an optimal crew. How the index is calculated
  • Mixed crews across squads — one coach, one pool of paddlers, so a men's, women's and mixed crew come out of one roster instead of three spreadsheets

Every seat, and the reason for it

The paddlers who turned up, seated — sides balanced, the steersperson accounted for, and the reasoning behind the lineup there when somebody asks.

How to install
BEFORE YOU DECIDE FOR YOUR CLUB

What a committee asks before it says yes

Four questions that decide a club rollout, answered where they're raised rather than in a support thread six weeks later.

What happens to our video?

It's measured and then deleted. What's kept is the report — the scores, the angles and a handful of annotated frames — never the footage, and nothing you upload trains any model.

Can we get our data out?

Attendance exports as a CSV, a month at a time, and any report saves as a PDF from its own page. Ask us for anything else you need and we'll tell you honestly whether it exists yet.

What if only half the club uses it?

Nothing breaks. A paddler with no analysis simply has no report — they're never averaged in as a zero — and roll call keeps unmarked separate from absent, so a session nobody marked doesn't count against anyone.

What if we stop paying?

There's no subscription to stop. The free in-app club tools keep working. New AI analyses need analysis credits, and optional text alerts need text credits; both are one-time packs that never renew themselves.

ON YOUR PHONE

No app store. No download.
No updates, ever.

One tap adds PaddleLens to your home screen. It opens full-screen like any other app — same icon, same feel — and it's always the current version, because there's nothing to update. Nobody on your crew has to make an Apple ID or find anything in a store.
